The Club & Guest House is the living room of UC Santa Barbara where faculty and staff, notable visitors from all over the world and members of the campus and local community come to meet, gather, dine and stay in a beautiful and serene university setting. Although open to the public, The Club is a membership organization governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Club is privileged to reside in an iconic Charles Moore  - designed building boasting a modernized expansion in 2017 by acclaimed architecture firm Moore Ruble Yudell . The Club is pleased to welcome a variety of guests, maintaining its long-standing tradition of conversation, connection and celebration since its opening in 1968.

The Club & Guest House's membership organization was established for the purpose of supporting social relationships and intellectual interests among UCSB faculty and staff, campus colleagues and the surrounding community. Membership in The Club entitles individuals to privileged and discounted use of the recently-renovated facility, including dining and bar services, Guest House accommodations, event venue rental and member social functions.
